Kyoto Mafu, the largest manga and anime event in western Japan, will be held again in Kyoto on September 17 and 18, 2022!
At the main venue [Miyako Messe], more than 60 booths from over 60 companies selling everything from popular anime to the latest productions will be lined up in a row, with exhibitions, goods sales, mini-events, and more. A character café area will also be set up, offering a variety of attractions for fans! In addition, there will be a stage where new anime are announced and popular voice actors give live talks, which is a big success every year. The two-day event is known to be "enjoyable even if you don't know much about the works.
The Kyoto International Manga Museum will be open until 7:30 p.m. during the exhibition period, and special tickets are now on sale for shared admission to the main venue. Stages will be selected by lottery in advance, so please check the website for the works you are interested in!
