The Gozan Okuribi (Bonfire Festival) will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at various locations in Kyoto City. On the day of the festival, the bonfires will be lit in the order of Myoho, Funagata, Left Daimonji, and Torigatogatari, in five-minute intervals starting with Daimonji.
