A photo exhibition commemorating the release of a new album by the music project KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET is being held at Ogawa Coffee Sakaimachi Nishiki until May 31, 2022 (Tuesday).
KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET is a music project initiated by Shuya Okino, the store's music selector, that aims to express contemporary jazz through completely live performances and analog recordings. At the venue, portraits of the band members and photos of the production of their new album "SUCCESSION," their first in five years, will be on display. In the sales corner, "sextet" coffee (1,200 yen), a commemorative coffee blend by Ogawa Coffee, will be on sale.

In addition, on Saturday, May 21, a live saxophone performance by Ken Kurihara (Kyoto Jazz Sextet) and a talk event by Shuya Okino and YUKARI BB (Jazzy Sport Kyoto / Sounds Familiar / KJCC) will be held to celebrate the opening of this exhibition.
