The "Kabuki Appreciation Class," which is popular for unraveling Kabuki through friendly talk and performances, will be held at the Minami-za Theater from May 12 (Thu.) to 18 (Wed.), 2022, for the first time in seven years.
Kyogen performer Ippei Shigeyama, who also provided commentary for "Kabuki Iroha," said at the press conference, "I want to explain the differences between Noh/kyogen and kabuki. Also appearing in "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura: Yoshinoyama" are Senju Kataoka and Kichitaro Uemura.
