Nomura Art Museum
A special exhibition tracing the history of the creation of the tea ceremony, from its introduction from China to its completion by Rikyu, will be held at the Nomura Art Museum in Okazaki from March 5, 2022. In addition to tea bowls, jujubes, and other utensils, Rikyu's own calligraphy and bamboo vases will also be on display. There is a tea room with seating inside the museum, where visitors can enjoy matcha green powdered tea with Kamiseihagashi (Japanese confectionery) for 700 yen. The exhibition will be completely renewed on April 18, so please enjoy both exhibitions.
