DIALOGUE, an exhibition and sale of crafts and handicrafts started in 2018, will be held again this year at Hotel Canla Kyoto. The name "DIALOGUE," meaning "dialogue," reflects the desire to convey the "words" of makers who have diverse backgrounds and work with local communities and nature, as it becomes increasingly necessary to learn about and act on the global environment and diversity. Thirty-eight groups of 50 makers from Kyoto and other parts of Japan, as well as exhibitors from overseas such as Korea, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, gathered at the exhibition. The hotel's guest rooms and entrance will be the stage for the warmth of handmade items such as ceramics, accessories, and knick-knacks, etc. Upon entering the exhibition, visitors will receive a 500-yen shopping ticket that can be used to purchase any of the exhibited items.
