The Fukuda Museum of Art and the Saga Arashiyama Bunkakan will jointly hold an exhibition of Kijima Sakuraya, a painter whose popularity is growing beyond the boundaries of Japanese-style painting fans. The exhibition traces the footsteps of the artist through his animal paintings, figures, landscapes, and other works that have made him famous. Newly discovered works from around the world will also be on display.
