A deep event that combines ROCK and Kyoto's unique culture, "ROCK" will be held on December 21, 2023 (Thursday) at the Rohm Theater Kyoto.plovers and rocsThis year marks the seventh time the event has been held since its inception in 2009.

Produced by Tomomi Yashiki, who was born in Kyoto and moved to New York, and Gouta Yashiki, who was also born in Kyoto and moved to England. Tomomi Yashiki experienced the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, and returned to Japan with unspeakable "prayers" in her heart. Now living in Kyoto, they started "Chidoriya Rocks" to "keep the festival alive in times like these.

This year, with the theme of "Never stop the festival" in mind, the event will feature live entertainment by Gota Yashiki, Fumiya Fujii, Tamio Okuda, and Noriyuki Makihara, as well as singing and dancing by the maiko and geiko of Miyagawa-cho, rakugo by Danshun Tachikawa, and a performance by the alternative funk band BREIMEN, who will appear for the first time this year. This year's festival will also feature a rakugo performance by Tachikawa Danshin, and a performance by alternative funk band BREIMEN, who will be making their first appearance at the festival.
