AMBIENT KYOTO 2023" is the second edition of "BRIAN ENO AMBIENT KYOTO" which was well received last year. This year's event will be held at two venues: the spacious former printing factory (Kyoto Shimbun Building, B1F) and the 93-year-old former welfare center of the Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank, which was also the venue last year.

On the first basement floor of the Kyoto Shimbun Building, Ryuichi Sakamoto's masterpiece "async" will be exhibited in a site-specific large-scale installation "async - immersion 2023," completed with video by his longtime friend Shiro Takatani and three-dimensional sound by ZAK. The work is a 26.4-meter-wide LED panel, which could only be realized at this location.

［The Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank Former Health and Welfare Center will exhibit immersive, ambient-themed artworks by Cornelius, Buffalo Daughter, and Seiichi Yamamoto, artists who have earned international acclaim for their innovative work.
