Japan's largest contemporary art fair "ACK" will be held from November 18 (Fri.) to 20 (Sun.), 2022, at various venues in Kyoto City, with the Kyoto International Conference Center as the main venue. ACK" is one of Japan's largest art fairs specializing in contemporary art, with galleries from Japan and abroad exhibiting, and aims to make Kyoto a world-class center for art through cross-disciplinary collaboration between the government and private sector, art and other fields.

In sympathy with this aim, Rakwakai Healthcare System (Yamashina-ku, Kyoto) is supporting the activities of artists who transmit their works from Kyoto to the world by sponsoring a satellite program, "Flowers of Time," which will be held from November 10 (Thursday) to 20 (Sunday), 2022, at the Honganji Dendoin, a historical building in Kyoto. The program "Flowers of Time" will be exhibited at the Honganji Dendoin, a historical building in Kyoto from November 10 (Thu.) to 20 (Sun.), 2022. Curated by ACK Program Director Yukako Yamashita, "Flowers of Time" explores the concept of "time" through the diverse works of nine internationally active artists.

Other exhibits include videos and panels showing how Rakwakai Healthcare System provided medical supplies to Ukrainian hospitals.

Along with the nine artists' works in the "Flowers of Time," the exhibition will also feature the Hongwanji Mission Headquarters, which is usually closed to the public, as well as medical aid.
