As a special treat, Mr. and Mrs. Nagano, the owners of the laundromat, who know everything there is to know about laundromats, came and told us about the recent situation of laundromats and how to actually use them well!

Many people have never been to a laundromat because "I have a washing machine at home + if I can't do my own laundry, I use the dry cleaning service.

Then Mr. Nagano said, "That would be a waste! and I asked him to tell me the advantages.

This is especially true today, with the increase in dual-earner households and one-person households, and the fact that many people inevitably do laundry at night or wash in batches because they cannot find the time to do so.

In fact, a number of people were using the machine while we were interviewing them. The weather was not so good that day, so many people came just to use the dryer.

Mr. Nagano recommended that we wash our down quilts because they become fluffy as well, and the WebLeaf staff decided to try washing the down quilts we had brought with us.

1. First, check which washing machine is best for you depending on the amount of laundry.
If you do not know how much laundry you are doing, he recommends that you measure it at home with a scale. Since we will be washing and drying a down quilt, we will use a medium-size washing machine that can wash a quilt weighing up to 15 kg. Incidentally, the same medium-size washing machine can wash two to three blankets, four summer comforters, and one thin carpet (3 tatami mats).

2. Next, insert the futon into the washing machine!

3. Finally, press the button for the course ("Wash & Dry" or "Wash Only" or "Dry Only"), insert money, and the machine automatically starts washing.

Three steps and done. Hey, where's the detergent? You may be wondering, "Where's the detergent? The detergent comes out automatically, so you don't need to put it in. The fabric softener is also automatically added...I didn't know that.

Since it is not easy to wash futons, it is interesting to watch them bubbling and spinning in the washing machine with ease. Mr. Nagano says that first-time users often stare at the machine even after the washing process has started. LOL!

Now, all we had to do was wait! I thought this waiting time would be painful, but there were vending machines in the store and also free WiFi, so it all happened very quickly. I heard that magazines are also available at the Sanjo-kai and Mibugawa branches of the same [Bi・Loved] store~!

And 60 minutes later... This is how the finished futons compare!
I am amazed at how much better the finished product is than I expected. The futon is fluffier than it has been in a long time, and I am delighted! They wash and dry the whole futon, so they can remove dust mites and dust mites. When I think that this can be done for 1,500 yen and 60 minutes, it is well worth the cost of a laundromat, even if you subtract the time and effort of bringing it in.

And here we have a washing machine specially designed for shoes! Here, too, you just put your shoes inside and turn it on. There is also a dedicated dryer, so drying your shoes is easy. It's nice to think that you don't have to go through the tedious process of washing shoes....

After using it, I realized that I was just worried because I had never used a laundromat before, but once I tried it, I realized that it was easy and very convenient. I am convinced that the number of people actually using them and the number of laundromat stores is increasing.

By the way, have you ever heard the name of the restaurant we visited this time, [Bi・Loved], anywhere? Try converting it into English in your head.... Yes, it is the same name as the famous song "Beloved" by the four-piece band GLAY! Actually, the owner is a big fan of GLAY and named it with a passionate desire to be offended one day (in reverse). There is a behind-the-scenes episode in which he wondered which name to use, "White Road" or "BELOVED". (Laughs)
