Storyboard artist Kangsook's solo exhibition will be held at Dongdaemun Gallery in Kyoto as his first overseas exhibition. Kangsook is a popular storyboard artist who has been responsible for over 300 dramas and films, including the hit Korean dramas "Love's Emergency Landing" and "Lawyer Woo Young Woo is a Genius Skin". He has worked on more than 90 films and 200 TV series (dramas), including a video game featuring BTS and the "BTS x Louis Vuitton 2021 Mens Fall Winter SELF" video, as a storyboard artist and calligraphy artist. He has been active not only in Korea but also in the world.

This year's exhibition traces her 25-year career as a storyboard artist, and features the first international public viewing of her storyboard works. Storyboards and watercolors from 86 of her 212 drama works and 20 films will be on display, allowing visitors to see scenes from memorable masterpieces such as the first encounter of the main characters in "My Dear Mister" and "Love's Emergency Landing," as well as the original paintings with colors applied. In addition to original goods such as eco-bags, carabiners, key rings, bochis, eyeglass holders, and stickers, there will also be a sale of artwork, so if you are interested, check it out at the exhibition!

In addition, on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 18:00, Kangsuk himself will give a talk event. He will introduce various episodes he experienced while spending time as a conte artist with photos and videos. There will also be time for questions (Korean-Japanese interpretation available), so please feel free to ask anything you are curious about directly.
