KANSETSU - Irigami no gijutsu, hi-tech painting" will be held until July 3, 2023 (Monday).
Celebrating the 140th anniversary of the birth of Hashimoto Sekisetsu, Kyoto's leading Japanese painter, the exhibition will be held simultaneously at three venues in Kyoto (Hakusamura-so Hashimoto Sekisetsu Memorial Museum, Fukuda Museum of Art, and Saga Arashiyama Bunkakan). At Shirasamura-so, the Higashiyama venue, the art room where Sekisetsu created his works will also be open to the public as a homecoming exhibition. A total of 150 works will be exhibited, the largest number ever, by switching between the first and second halves of the exhibition.
