Japan's largest lantern festival will be held at the Kyoto Prefectural Kizugawa Sports Park from December 23 (Fri.) to 25 (Sun.), 2022.
The spectacle of more than several thousand lanterns floating in the sky above, coloring the winter night sky, is a sight to behold. The lanterns are made of LED lights, which do not use fire, and are collected after the event, making them environmentally friendly. A food market, Christmas store, and circus games will be available at the event site, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the Christmas season.
