Kifune's Cuisine Ryokan [Hiroya] offers artistic cuisine that is pleasing to the eye...
This is a place where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine featuring river fish and wild vegetables on a cool river bed located upstream of the Kibune River. It began when the previous priest of Kibune Shrine served dishes such as wild vegetables to worshipers.
The famous grilled sweetfish wrapped in the aroma of bamboo grass is an irresistible treat, and in mid-summer, ice noodles are served in an ice bowl that is cool to the eye. In addition to kaiseki cuisine, the restaurant also offers a variety of hot pot dishes such as pike conger shabu (hamo shabu). You can also take out a drink from the café and relax on the riverbed as if you were on the terrace (seat fee 550 yen / cancelled in the event of rain).
