Kyoto Prefecture will begin accepting lottery applications for the Go To Eat Campaign on November 26. The period for using meal coupons previously sold will also be extended.

The campaign had been restricted in its use to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. The meal coupons previously sold have been extended to March 15, 2021 (Tuesday). In addition, an additional lottery will be held this time, and a total of 600,000 meal tickets will be sold through two lotteries.

This year's meal coupons will also be sold for 4,000 yen per coupon, which is good for a meal worth 5,000 yen. Applications for the lottery sales will be made through a dedicated website, and those who apply for both the first and second sessions within the period will be entered into the lottery. Only those who have been selected will be notified of their selection by e-mail, and those who have been selected will be able to purchase their tickets by issuing them at "Famiports" located in FamilyMart convenience stores during the period of the lottery.

The first 400,000 copies will be sold. The lottery will be open from Friday, November 26, 10:00 to Tuesday, November 30, 23:59. Winners will be notified on Saturday, December 11, and tickets can be issued from 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 11 to 23:59 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022.

The second edition will sell 200,000 copies. The lottery will be open from Wednesday, December 1 at 10:00 to Sunday, December 5 at 23:59. Winners will be notified on December 16 (Thu), and tickets can be issued from December 16 (Thu) 12:00 to January 31 (Mon), 2022 (23:59).

The period of use is from the time the tickets are issued until 23:59 on March 15, 2022 (Tuesday). Each person may purchase up to 5 books for each session. Only one lottery application per person is allowed for each session.
*From Thursday, December 23 to Monday, January 10, 2022, meal ticket sales will be suspended to prevent the spread of infection.
