Komyoji Temple Special Entry

Special Entrance for Autumn Leaves" is now being held at Koumyouji Temple.

Saturday, November 16, 2024 - Sunday, December 8, 2024
9:00-16:00
Koumyouji Temple, the head temple of the Nishiyama Jodo Sect

Komyoji Temple, located at the foot of Mt. Nishiyama in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, is currently holding a "Special Entry of Autumn Leaves" until December 8, 2024 (Sun.).
The approach to the temple, called "Momiji-sando" (pathway of maple leaves), is especially popular as a tunnel of beautiful brocade with about 250 maple trees planted in a distance of about 200 meters. The maple trees laid out along the path are also a must-see. Let the autumn leaves of the mountains soothe you in a space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out the red seal available only during the autumn foliage season.
