On Saturday, November 30, 2024, "2024 Takashima Industrial Fair & Soba Festa" will be held at Imazu Sports Park in Takashima City to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Takashima City.
The event brings together a diverse range of local industries, including agriculture, forestry, fisheries, commerce, and tourism, and offers a variety of programs for children and adults alike, including food and beverage booths featuring local delicacies, live comedy and dance performances, and more. There will also be hands-on activities such as soba noodle making, workshops by Yoshimoto comedians, and baseball lessons by the baseball club "OBC Takashima" (first-come, first-served; some events charge a fee).
