［At the Kyoto Main Restaurant, such traditional pickles are served as ochazuke kaiseki (tea-ceremony dishes) for lunch. The menu includes an assortment of pickles and a set of fish that has been marinated in sake lees made from matured Nara-zuke pickles and slowly grilled to a rich aroma.

The ochazuke kaiseki course is served in a tatami room in a traditional Kyoto-style machiya (traditional townhouse), located in the back of the restaurant. When you open the yukimi-shoji screen, you will see a small tsuboniwa garden with kasuga lanterns and a water bowl. You can enjoy your meal while appreciating the unique atmosphere of a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has been carefully cared for.
