[The "Autumn Sweets Buffet" will be held at Le Temps on the 2nd floor of Hotel Granvia Kyoto from September 1 (Sun.) to November 30 (Sat.), 2024, from Friday to Sunday and on holidays only.
The buffet includes a variety of sweets using autumn flavors such as sweet potato, chestnut, pumpkin, muscat, fig, and pear. The "Marukyu Koyamaen's Matcha and Chestnut Tart" with chestnuts sprinkled on almond dough with the bitterness of matcha, and the "Marukyu Koyamaen's Hojicha and Kyoto Tanba Black Bean Roll Cake" using hojicha and Kyoto Tanba black beans, are just a few of the sweets made in collaboration with the Kyoto-based long-established shop "Marukyu Koyamaen".
The best of all is the Mont Blanc made with hojicha-scented cream from Marukyu Koyamaen and Tanba chestnuts from Kyoto. The accompanying sweetened Tamba chestnuts, tuile with autumn leaves, and a dry landscape painted with hojicha powder from Marukyu Koyamaen evoke the image of Kyoto in autumn.
The restaurant also offers a variety of light meals, making it perfect for a late lunch. Take this opportunity to enjoy the flavors of autumn to your heart's content!
