A hands-on event, "Mysterious Field and Tomato Tree," will be held at AEON Kyoto Rakunan Shopping Center from March 28 (Thu.) to 31 (Sun.), 2024, where visitors can enjoy learning about the connection between the fields where vegetables are grown and their daily lives. A giant "tomato tree" over 2.3 meters high will appear at the event site, and there will also be a quiz rally "Quiz! The "Mysteries of Kagome and Vegetables," a quiz rally in which you can win presents, and a video showing of a storytelling of the original story "Alice in the Wonderland" will also be held. On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can harvest tomatoes from the "Tomato Tree," which bears more than 1,000 tomatoes, for free (numbered tickets will be distributed).

This event will start in June 2022 as an initiative to promote "food education starting from shokuiku (planting and growing).
