From November 6 (Sat.) to 28 (Sun.), "Kibune Maple Lantern Festival" will be held around Kibune Shrine to light up the autumn leaves. ［The Kibune Shrine and the ryokan (Japanese-style inn) district will be illuminated with lanterns. ［At Kibune Shrine, Kasuga lanterns will be lit on the approach to the shrine, and the main shrine will be illuminated with brilliant autumn leaves, along with the shrine pavilions.
The Eizan Railway will also illuminate the "Maple Tunnel" between Ichihara and Ninose Stations, and for the first time in two years, trains passing through the "Maple Tunnel" will be operated at a reduced speed with the interior lights turned off.
