On Sunday, November 26, 2023, "JAPANESE Traditional Culture Experience by HULIC -Vol.1 in KYOTO 2023.11.26-", an event based on the concept of "a special day to experience traditional Japanese culture", will be held at Rissei Garden HULIC Kyoto in the city of Kyoto. The theme of the festival will be the Bakumatsu Restoration, with performances by three groups of performers who carry on traditional culture, including Asakusa-based katsuben (live speech) artists Yatagata Asou and Yatagata Asouko, performances by Unosuke Miyamoto Shoten on a variety of Japanese musical instruments including Japanese drums and Shinobue flute, and Tayu Michu by Tayu Shimahara, who has close ties with the Shinsengumi (the Shinsengumi).
Admission: 1,500 yen each for Part 1 and Part 2, 2,000 yen for Part 1 and Part 2, 1,500 yen for a special performance ticket.
