From July 29 (Sat) to August 9 (Wed), 2023, "Orangutan Exhibition - Departures from the People of the Forest" will be held at Ogawa Coffee Sakai-cho Nishiki.
This event was organized by Ogawa Coffee to bring attention to the current situation of orangutans, which are in danger of extinction due to the decline of tropical rainforests, and to encourage people to think and learn together about environmental issues. During the event, paintings of Bornean orangutans by artist Molly will be exhibited, books on orangutans will be sold, and an exhibit documenting the ecology of orangutans will be held. In addition, a tasting of INDONESIA DARK/MEDIUM, certified by the Orangutan Coffee Project, will be held during the exhibition period. At the coffee shop, visitors can enjoy the Indonesian orangutan coffee menu prepared for the International Orangutan Day on August 19 for the month of August only.
