A new area [Tanakuro (Kyotanabe Cross Park)] in Tanabe Park (Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture), which has a variety of facilities and is popular with men and women of all ages, will have its grand opening on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
The facility is based on the theme of cooperation between agriculture and welfare, and the nickname "Tanakuro," chosen from among many entries, expresses the idea that "all people, from children to the elderly, can interact (cross) while coming into contact with greenery and agriculture.
The facility will include a vast natural grass plaza, one of the largest sandboxes in the Kansai region, a vinyl greenhouse for stylish farming experiences, a produce market, and many other facilities.
