The food and beverage area of Kyoto Porta, a commercial facility directly connected to Kyoto Station, will be expanded and opened on November 26, 2024 (Tuesday) in anticipation of the tourists expected to attend the "Osaka-Kansai Expo" in 2025. The former Porta Kitchen in the east area of the underground shopping center will be reborn as Porta Dining with a new look and four new restaurants. The expectations of locals are also growing.
