The natural luxury hotel [Six Senses Kyoto] (Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto), which opened in April 2024, will celebrate its first Christmas. From cakes and course meals to afternoon tea and cocktails, a festive menu for the festive season will be available for a limited time from each of the hotel's facilities. Enjoy a special Christmas with a rich and healthy menu based on the theme of "wellness," one of the hotel's concepts. All prices include tax and service charge.
[Located on the B2F of Six Senses Kyoto, Café Sekki offers freshly brewed coffee, healthy juices, and nutritious snacks. During the Christmas season, take-out cakes and sweets by pastry chef Reiko Yokota will be available. Delicious and healthy gluten-free and refined sugar-free sweets are available, including a shortcake made with rice flour and a rice flour and wasanbon stollen with plenty of black beans. Quantities are limited, so be sure to make reservations early.

From the resort-like restaurant [All-Day Dining "Sekki"] comes a course created by Executive Chef Hiroo Shishikura. The menu offers a wellness dining experience with dishes that emphasize Japanese food culture, using locally produced and consumed ingredients with sustainability in mind, such as domestic caviar, Miyazaki karasumi, Kyoto jidori chicken, and Kameoka beef, as well as healthful seasonings such as salted malt koji and fermented lemon. Enjoy a unique and flavorful menu that is in line with the hotel's valued food philosophy, "Eat With Six Senses". The Christmas Eve dinner is a one-day-only special.

[The theme of afternoon tea at Six Senses Kyoto changes about every two weeks in accordance with the 24 solar terms. From Christmas to New Year's, the theme changes to "Winter Solstice. The rich taste of traditional French pastries is made gluten-free, and fermented strawberries and amazake (sweet sake) cream are used to create a composition that takes the body into consideration. The savory lineup includes Kamo Nanban Soba Sushi and Nanafuku Chakin, both inspired by New Year's Eve Soba Noodles. Enjoy an elegant tea time in an open space while feeling the seasons.
