[Misono no Hashi Sakai is celebrating its 42nd year in 2024 since becoming independent from the original Chinese restaurant Sakai Honten. The restaurant is packed at lunchtime, and most of the customers order cold noodles (cold noodles are called chilled chuka in the Kansai region).
The restaurant's cold noodles, which have been featured on TV programs and have many celebrity fans, are the signature dish of the restaurant.
Since its establishment, the restaurant has been using sesame sauce, blended with chicken stock, soy sauce, and a variety of other seasonings, and the sauce is slowly prepared over a period of two to three days.
