WAGYU KAJIYA KAMIJIYA opened in Karasuma Rokkaku on July 8, 2024 (Monday), offering creative cuisine using black Japanese beef from Tanegashima and seafood directly from Ine Town in northern Kyoto Prefecture.
The restaurant, a renovated 120-year-old machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouse), displays works by artists associated with Kyoto, allowing customers to enjoy their meals while experiencing Kyoto's traditional culture.
We recommend "Kajiya beef," Japanese black beef raised in our own cattle barn on Tanegashima, "Natsumi," a brand of rock oysters produced in Ine, "Ine yellowtail," one of Japan's top three yellowtail species, and other seasonal seafood shipped directly from Ine. Enjoy a unique Kyoto culinary experience with creative and eye-catching dishes decorated with traditional Kyoto vegetables.
