Senju Senbei Ice Cream is a popular souvenir of Kyoto, made by sandwiching ice cream between Senju Senbei (rice crackers) from Kohzuki (Kyoto Confectionary Shop). Senju Senbei Ice Cream is now available in a new matcha (powdered green tea) flavor. The ice cream is richly flavored with organic matcha grown in Wazuka Town, Kyoto Prefecture, the main production area of Uji tea, and has a rich, bittersweet taste. The amount of ice cream has been adjusted so that each can be fully enjoyed.
These products are perfect for various occasions, such as cherry blossom viewing, sightseeing, and as souvenirs. Check them out at a store near you.
