The restaurant offers a course menu prepared by Mr. Nakatani, a genuine chef who has devoted himself to Japanese cuisine for more than 20 years, at reasonable prices starting from 6,600 yen for lunch and 14,300 yen for dinner. The fish comes directly from Awaji Island and Wakasa Bay, and vegetables are mainly Kyoto vegetables delivered from farmers.

Founded at the end of the Edo period (1603-1867), Sanmi Koan Kyoto Honsen is a long-established restaurant that serves Japanese cuisine such as Saikyo-yaki and Chirimen Sansho. The Soba Gozen, a beautifully arranged two-tiered Soba noodle dish with appetizers, Tempura, Saikyo-yaki, etc., served with Kakesoba and dessert, is a gorgeous way to start the year.
