［The exhibition introduces the works created by six young lacquer craftsmen and artists from the "Kyoto Lacquerware Bearers Platform" operated by the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute, who have demonstrated their individual sensibilities, and the diverse world of lacquer that lies behind them. The museum store and online store will also sell a number of works, including those by the craftsmen and artists in this exhibition, for a limited time only.

*What is the "Kyo-Mono Leader Platform"?
This is a portal site to support young craftsmen and artists involved in the production of "Kyo mono" (Kyoto crafts designated by Kyoto City and Kyoto Prefecture). The Kyoto Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute's project to support young craftspeople and artists engaged in the production of Kyoto-made goods (designated crafts by Kyoto City and Kyoto Prefecture) provides a wide range of support, from product development to the development of sales channels, in cooperation with Kyoto's administrative and support organizations.
