At Chorakukan, a gorgeous state guest house built in 1909, autumn afternoon tea with plenty of autumn fruits is served for a limited time. Afternoon tea is served on an English-style three-tiered tea stand, where you can enjoy sweets and savory items made with carefully selected seasonal fruits and ingredients.
Three kinds of homemade sweets, one kind of daily baked sweets, and two kinds of seasonal fruits are lined up on the upper part of the tea stand. At this time of year, afternoon tea offers three types of sweets: a mont blanc based on autumn fruits, a pear tart, and an apple and black tea mousse.
Two types of scones, plain and cranberry, are lined up in the middle row, and clotted cream and jam are added. In the lower row, there are ham and cucumber sandwiches, as well as autumn's characteristic savory.
