Special lunch offerings to be enjoyed in the undisclosed area of Nijo Castle will begin on January 7.
The annual spring special lunch will be served from January 7 (Sat.) to February 28 (Tue.), 2023, at Kountei, a restaurant in Nijo Castle, Kyoto, which is normally closed to the public.
Enjoy the "Early Spring Ninomaru Gozen" by Kyoto Cuisine Isobe, using Kyoto brands and seasonal ingredients, with a view of the Seiryuen Garden.
A different a la carte dish will be served each month, such as "steamed Shogoin turnip in January" and "soy milk hot pot with yuba and sea bream" in February.
