[In April 2023, Kyoto Tachibana University (Yamashina-ku, Kyoto) will open a new learning project called "Tachibana Liberal Arts School Ukon" (President: Michikazu Kono).
To commemorate the opening of the course, a series of talk events (3 sessions in total) will begin in November 2022. The events, which aim to provide an opportunity to rediscover how to live and learn through "dialogue," will invite novelists, independent researchers, and social activists to speak from various perspectives.
On Sunday, November 6, novelist Yoko Ogawa presented "Living the Story, Spinning the Tale," and many people experienced a new learning experience.

The second session on December 10 (Sat) will be given by Kyoto-based independent researcher Masao Morita on the theme "Learning Now," and the third session on January 22 (Sun) will be given by social activist Makoto Yuasa on the theme "The Miracle of the Children's Diner.
Not only answers that are immediately useful in daily life and work, but also based on one's own concerns, questions, and curiosity, one can deepen one's own "life" with others through dialogues with others. This talk event aims to create such a place for learning.
