The Kyoto Central Market, a food hub that supports the lives of Kyoto citizens, will launch a registration program on March 10, 2022 (Thursday) for restaurants that purchase fresh food and other products from the market!
Registered stores will receive a registration certificate to be displayed as a "store of the season" and will receive many benefits, such as publicity on the special website on the official website, on each social networking service, and in Leaf KYOTO.

There is no registration fee, and all you have to do is apply with the required documents by either mail, e-mail or in person! If you are an eligible store, please check it out.

Registration Requirements
1. Must be a restaurant in the western area of Kyoto Station
2. Purchase market-distributed food ingredients from one of the first market's middle wholesalers, processed food wholesalers, and first related businesses (middle wholesalers, etc.).
3. Have obtained the necessary permits such as the Food Sanitation Law as a business.
4. The store or the store's representatives, officers, and employees have no close relationship with organized crime groups, etc. (i.e., organized crime groups as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Kyoto City Ordinance for Elimination of Organized Crime Groups, organized crime group members as defined in Article 2, Item 4 of the same ordinance, and corporations controlled by organized crime groups as defined in Article 2, Item 7 of the same ordinance).
