The Kyoto Hannahlies, a professional basketball team, is holding a dance competition in order to "support opportunities to make dreams come true. The preliminary round will be held online on February 27, 2022 as a measure against the new coronavirus. The finals will be held on March 5. The winning teams in the kids and junior divisions will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to perform their dances during halftime of the Ibaraki game. There will also be an open slot for high school students and older, and all genres of dance are welcome. Expectations are high for passionate performances by dance enthusiasts.
