Talk show with Kabuki actor Shoya Ichikawa as a guest....
Cho-Kabuki" was born at the 2016 Nico Nico Ultra Conference and will be performed at the Minamiza Theater from September 8 (Thursday) to September 25 (Sunday), 2022.
The performance, featuring Shido Nakamura, who is active in a wide range of fields, and Hatsune Miku, a virtual singer active worldwide, is a fusion of classical kabuki and the latest technology, and has been a very popular annual event at the "Nico Nico Ultra Conference". This year's "Super Kabuki 2022 Powered by NTT" toured Hakata-za Theater, Gion-za Theater, and Shinbashi Enbujo Theater, and finally began its final leg of the tour at Minami-za Theater.
This year's program includes "Cho-Kabuki Mikata," a fun talk show by Chomurasaki Nakamura and Kuniya Sawamura that explains the promises of kabuki and how to enjoy "Cho-Kabuki," "Bandai Harukabuki-odori," featuring Izumo no Okuni (played by Miku Hatsune), and "Ancient Dynasty," which opens with an oral presentation by Shidou Nakamura and Miku Hatsune. The spectacle-themed "Eien Hana Homare no Isaoshi" (Eternal Flower Honor and Merit), all of which are must-see performances. The collaboration of cutting-edge technologies, including the latest technology developed by NTT, is also a highlight of the festival, so be sure to come and see for yourself.
A "limited version" will also be performed with different casting from the main performance. In the limited version, Kuniya Sawamura, a familiar face from the 2016 "Cho-Kabuki," will play the role of Hatsune Miku's partner.
Even if you cannot speak, you can still participate by waving a penlight, which is fun, and the stage and audience become one, experiencing a hot grand circle just like in a live concert venue.

Nakamura Choshihiro and Sawamura Kuniya explain the promises of Kabuki and how to enjoy "Cho-Kabuki" in a fun talk. The audience seemed to enjoy the ingenious ways of changing the color of the penlight and sounding the Omukou, even though they could not speak. The "Shido Twin," a digital Shido created by NTT's latest technology "Another Me ®️," appeared on stage and called out to the audience with gestures, hand gestures, and voice sounds as if the Shido himself were actually there.
Bandai Haru Kabuki Odori(The everlasting Harukabuki odori)
After "Cho-Kabuki Mikata" was over, the asagi curtain was lowered and Izumo no Okuni, played by Hatsune Miku, appeared and performed a glamorous dance amidst a cherry blossom snowstorm. Then Hideyasu Mashiba (played by Shido Nakamura), Kuniya Sawamura (Kuniya Sawamura), Butterfly (Chomurasaki Nakamura), and other members of the women's kabuki troupe performed one gorgeous dance after another, and when they finished dancing amidst shining confetti, they were met with thunderous applause.
