Bunka Parque Joyo Planetarium has one of the largest domes in the prefecture with a diameter of 23 meters. The one-hour regular projection program consists of a commentary on tonight's starry sky and a planetarium program. The powerful images spread across the large dome allow visitors to enjoy different programs depending on the time of year and the time of day. The planetarium at the Otsu Science Museum reopened in 2012. Visitors can enjoy beautiful fulldome surround images created by a digital planetarium projector.
